I’ve had this website/domain/blog for a couple years now and I really don’t know what it’s for.
I don’t post consistently enough to really call it a blog. I don’t post long enough articles for it to be all that informative. I don’t post photos in an easy to digest way most of the time. So whatever I’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked. I’m going to be reworking this website and setting out a few new criteria for it.
The first thing I’ll be trying to do is simply posting more often. I’ll be doing a “Weekly Review” every Sunday or Monday. These reviews will be about my runs, long hikes, adventures in general. The content of these reviews will be a lot of numbers, progress, how I felt during some sections of each run, etc. These are partly to inform others and somewhat so I can go back to review for myself.
Next I’ll be posting more photos and hopefully in an easier to view way. I’m looking through gallery plugins right now so I can find something that’s easy for me to use and easy for y’all as well. The issue in the past is that a lot of plugins I’ve used haven’t integrated very well. They’re clunky and don’t fit into the site. I’m going to fix this.
Along with more photos will be more content about what I’m doing in general. I’ve been cooking and baking quite a lot again lately so there will be photos of that. Possibly recipes but don’t count on those. I’m really bad about recording my recipes because I don’t often follow them all that well.
Things I won’t be posting about are personal such as work or relationships.
Don’t ever expect to see advertisements on this site unless someone decides to sponsor me. Even then it would be a very small not obtrusive ad somewhere on the sidebar or footer of the site.
For everyone that’s been coming to the site regularly, all like 10 of you, thank you! I appreciate it and I’ll be working to make visiting this site more enjoyable and hopefully educational for everyone.
